Speak to others that may have gone through losing a cat. Anyone who can understand your situation can be nice to be around. When your're feeling a bit out of whack, a calm voice or shoulder can make all the difference. If you don't have anyone to contact, It's possible to get help from your veterinarian or pet loss counselors (online and in person).
List All Your Favorite Things About Your Cat.
Sometimes reminiscing on all the good times is enough to help. Knowing all the good times can outweigh the heartfelt agony of pet loss can help. Looking back on all the loving moments or listing some of them can really help with healing your heart after a pet loss.
Create Photo Memories of Your Cat.
It's a far cry from bringing your pet back, but it can really feel like the next best thing creating a cat portrait. It can help just seeing a photo of your cat. Like mentioned above, the good times are the ones that last, and seeing a photo is all about remembering the best times with your pet.
